Covid 19 Virus Update
Due to Covid 19 Virus and current Government recommendations etc
We are suspending our Folk Meetings until Further notice.
We will resume as soon as it is safe to do so.
We will be in touch with dates etc …..in the meantime please stay safe and well.
We are a small group who have been meeting regularly since 2010 to share our enjoyment of acoustic music, mostly from the folk and blues traditions, but extending into show tunes and rock-and-roll and indeed anything that a performer loves – to sing, play or just listen.
We have a selection of Musicians who attend and some who like to sing a Cappella, some sing and accompany them selves and we have many who like to perform as small duets or groups, ..So Harmonica , Clarinet, Mandolin , Ukulele, Acoustic Guitar , 12 string Acoustic Guitar, Flute, Banjo and accordion music all feature from time to time … We are an acoustic group so amplifiers and backing tracks are not part of our scene !
Music can be your own composition or a cover version. We are a pretty supportive group, so while you need to practice a wee bit ..you don’t have to be absolutely perfect !!
We have an Open meeting usually on the First and Third Wednesday of each month (Please note dates can vary depending on the availability of the room).
The doors open at 7:30pm and we get started at 7:45 pm. We have to be out of the room by 10:30pm. We meet in Pinner Village Hall, Chapel Lane, Pinner, HA5 1AA. (This is not a postal address for us, so please don’t write.)
PinFAB dates for your new 2019 diary … all evenings at Pinner Village Hall ..as always .. doors open at 19:30 and start times is 19:45 … the days do vary a bit due to other uses of the Hall … but we’ve tried to stick with our 1st and 3rd Wednesdays of the month … but because other activities use the space there are exceptions .. so please check.

Pinner Folk and Blues was originally established in 2010, in Pinner by Barry Reeve, a local singer- songwriter, who started the club mainly as an outlet for his own material and performances. PinFAB started quite small and in the early days used the United Services Club in Love Lane as its home. Barry Reeve Moved away from the area in around 2013, and has sadly passed away. …. But PinFAB has kept going ….and grown, firstly with Viv Saunders at its helm 2013 – 2015. Since 2015, a small PinFAB management team have kept things ticking over.
